Hind Sealant E

Product Description

USES

Hind Sealant E is used as sealant for fine cracks in structural members, tile joints, metal joints, sealing holes for complete water tightness etc.

APPLICATION

Mixing

Entire contents of Comp-A and Comp-B are to be taken on a clean mixing tray and thoroughly mixed by a metallic spatula.

Surface Preparation

The contact surface between the putty/sealant has to be thoroughly cleaned from all dust, dirt oily or greasy materials and dry. Priming with Hind ERS 21P is required for porous substrate and substrates which are subjected to movement. If cracks are filled with Hind Sealant-E it is to be chiselled for making V groove about 10mm -12 mm deep and wide and to be primed with Hind ERS 21 P before application of sealant. After the sealant is applied it is to be tooled with a sharp knife.

Hind Sealant BP

Product Description

USES

  • 1. For repairing cracks and holes in most types of roofing material, guttering downpipes, flashings, valleys and water tanks.
  • 2. Ideal for sealing laps on sheet roofing material cracks in concrete, brickwork and the bedding in deck timber (marine).
  • 3. Can be used for sealing laps of Alcor damp course and flashing.
  • 4. Can also be used to form a coving where a concrete wall meets the floor such as in concrete water tanks.

FEATURES AND BENIFITS

  • 1. Water, acid (mild) alkali (mild), and vermin resistance ensure longer lasting performance in a variety of applications.
  • 2. Applied cold, directly from the container saving you any unnecessary wasted time in healing or mixing with solvents.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Surface must be dry, clean and free from grease, wax, oil and any loose or other material, which may inhibit adhesion of putty. Remove loose rust and scale with a wire brush prior to application. Best results are obtained when the surface is dry.

APPLICATION

Apply directly from the cartridge or use a putty knife. For large hole or cracks, apply a layer of Waterproofing Putty around the area to be repaired, then embed a piece of fiberglass reinforced matting into the first layer, then apply second layer.

PRECAUTIONS

  • 1. Flammable. Store in dry place away from open fires, stoves and heaters. Keep lid firmly closed.
  • 2. Intended for external use only.

COVERAGE

Depending on application and porosity of surface, you will need 1 Kg of Hind Sealant BP to fill a joint 25mm x 25mm x 1300mm approximately.

CLEAN UP

Use mineral turps to clean up excess Waterproofing Putty and tools.

Hind Silicone Sealant

Hind Silicone Sealant is used as an effective sealing compound in construction, glazing, rail coach building, sealing of bus body joints, manufacturing of smaller and bigger aquarium and a wide range of industrial and institutional applications.

APPLICATION

The sealant is packed in cartridge and may be applied by using manual or automatic/pneumatic applicator guns. For application on glass surface it may be cleaned with soap water or any other solvent.

Hind Sealant Primer

Product Description

USES

Hind Sealant Primer is used in conjunction with Hind Sealant PS. It is recommended for the surface namely concrete, brickwork, asbestos, cement, gypsum, board, stone, glass, timber, rigid PVC, anodized aluminum, ceramics etc. Primer is not required for Epoxy and Polyester surfaces.

APPLICATION

Prime only on two sides of the property prepared joint surface with Hind Sealant Primer by brush and allow it to cure for minimum 20 minutes. Apply two coats of Hind Sealant Primer at an interval of 30 minutes. After priming is over Hind Sealant PS should be filled in the joints.

COVERAGE

For porous and nonporous surface coverage of   50 – 55 ft2 / Ltr /coat is achieved.
