Hind Cure AL
RESIN BASED ALUMINIUM PIGMENTED CONCRETE CURING COMPOUND
Hind Cure AL is a pigmented lacquer type concrete curing compound to prevent premature water loss from concrete. It is based on synthetic film forming resin and leafing grade micro fine Aluminum pigment. The total reflection of sunlight from Aluminum surface to dissipate heat is an added advantage. It is a very fast setting compound. The content of organic solvent in it helps to form a tough resin film within two hours. It conforms to ASTM C-309, ASTM C-156, ASTM-97 & BS-7542.
Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
Product Description
USES
Hind Cure AL is sprayed or brushed into newly laid concrete surfaces to form a thin barrier against premature water loss. Without hindrance to the normal curing phenomenon due to adequate hydration water held by the concrete matrix underneath and for negligible evaporation of water from below resin membrane the concrete achieves maximum beneficial properties.
ADVANTAGES
Hind Cure AL is very useful in large areas of exposed concrete such as
- Concrete Highways-Road construction.
- Air Port
- Apron and hard standing.
- Roof decks and shell-roofs.
- Retaining walls.
- Pre stressed beams and piers.
- Canal lining.
- Exposed surfaces of dams.
- Sloping and angular surface where pond curing is not possible.
APPLICATION
Hind Cure AL curing compound is recommended for application once the surface water has disappeared. As it is solvent based, the equipment are to be cleared with mineral Solvents, such as white spirit, kerosene oil, etc. soon after completion of job. It is recommended to stir the contents of container before application and to keep the product away from flame and heat under shade. Application can be done by spray or brush. The coverage depends on site condition such as wind velocity, temperature and humidity.

ADVANTAGES
Hind Bond EBA provides a bond of far better strength of concrete itself, and suitable wherever structural bonding of new to existing old concrete is required.
APPLICATION
Surface should be cleaned, dry and free from loose particles, oil, grease or other foreign materials. Deep contaminated concrete should be thoroughly cleaned by wire brush. Mix all the pre-weighed Pack-A with the pre-weighed Pack-B and stir thoroughly preferably with a low speed electric drill or paddle mixer for 2-3 minutes.. Apply a thin layer of Hind Bond EBA with brush to the existing surface, working well into the substrate. Place fresh concrete/mortar while it is still ‘tacky’.
In case of using large packs, when the entire mixed quantity cannot be used at a time, contents of Pack A and Pack B is to be mixed in the ratio 2:1 by weight and consumed within 30 minutes.

Hind Silica M
MICROSILICA IN POWDER FORM FOR CONSTRUCTION
Hind Silica M is a dry fine particles of silica fume, in a compacted dry powder form of mineral origin. The specific surface area of Hind Silica M is very high, as a result of which it fills up minute voids in the cement-sand matrix. It is also a supplementary cementitious binder, because it vigorously promotes secondary hydration reaction to form further C-S-H gel. The material conforms to IS 15388 – 2003 & ASTMC – 1240
Technical Data Sheet (TDS)
Product Description
USES
Hind Silica M is used in production of high grade, high strength concrete. Its use makes concrete impervious and enhances durability. It is used for construction of basements, railway platforms, marine structures, kerbs, highway dividers, pavements, Bridges, Dams, Tunnels, Water-retaining walls, PSC girders, bridge decks and concrete structures with long spans. mass concrete work keeping the cement content less. To improve the workability and flow of concrete admixed with Hind Silca M, a suitable superplasticiser or an air-entraining agent like ‘Hind Plast Super SCA/Hind Plast AEA’ may be used in conjunction.
ADVANTAGES
- 1. Improves flexural and bond strength.
- 2. Highly enhances durability.
- 3. Solid resistance to chemical attacks.
- 4. Creates dense, compact impermeable concrete.
- 5. Resists freeze/thaw effect.
APPLICATION
The application procedure and dosage are entirely dependent on the site requirements. The best possible dosage is possible to be ascertained on the basis of site trials. As a guideline 3% to 5% by weight of cement is used in concrete without any cement replacement. For high grade concrete 10% to 15% may be used as replacement of cement to enhance durability and achieve high strength. However, trials should be conducted to fix the exact dose.
